2017 Healthcare Symposium Brings Healthcare Management Expert to DFW

Nationally recognized physician and practice management consultant, Dr. Richard A Honaker F.A.A.F.P., will be leading the discussion on Oct. 10th at the 2017 Healthcare Symposium titled, Revitalizing the Healthcare Industry Through Efficiency and Engagement. Dr. Honaker has spent over 30 years in the practice of Family Medicine. He founded and served as President and Senior Physician of a 10 Provider group in Carrollton, Texas that was a thriving success in clinical excellence and business success.

In his role as a consultant to many practices in Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth, and Raleigh-Durham North Carolina, Dr. Honaker takes a unique approach to consulting practices by utilizing the perspective of a physician to address healthcare management, practice efficiency, and revenue cycle challenges. Well known for his work on the Best Docs Network Medical Minutes, Dr. Honaker has been named multiple years as of one of the Best Doctors in Dallas by D Magazine as well as a Texas Super Doc by Texas Monthly Magazine.

Dr. Honaker will provide actionable tips and takeaways for healthcare administrators and physicians including 10+ ways to increase practice efficiency and enhance practice joy, 20+ ways to enhance revenue and develop techniques for risk management and identifying important patient-friendly ways to manage your healthcare facility.

As the healthcare industry transforms, and regulations impede the efficiency of day-to day operations, many business managers and practice administrators struggle to keep up with patient engagement, value based care standards and revenue cycle best practices. Dr. Honaker’s presentation is designed to help quiet the noise and give healthcare professionals valuable tools to assess and transform operations to exceed today’s industry needs.

“Many of our clients have shared their frustrations regarding increased regulations and confusion on how to address them,” said Linda Borek, President and CEO of NTC Healthcare. “We have designed this symposium to help the healthcare community in Texas gain perspective and learn specific ways to address these issues in their day to day operations.”

Dr. Honaker is a faculty lecturer for the American Educational Institute, which presents seminars and lectures internationally for CME and Practice Management topics.

The symposium will take place on October 10, 2017 at The Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas from 8:30am-12:00pm. The event will also feature local vendors and a light breakfast will be served.
